We'll be using the adorable 'Merry Mice' stamp set from the soon-to-be released Occasions catalogue. 

Notice also a new embossing folder, bakers twine and bells ... More cuteness ;D

Woodland Birthday Wishes

This weeks classes are masculine cards.

I try and do a couple of classes a year specifically for masculine cards. I don't know about you but I always have trouble coming up with cards for men lol.

This card is cased from one I saw by Sandi MacIver. Thank you for the inspiration Sandi! :D

I've used 'Vintage Leaves' and their coordinating framelits to carry on the woodland theme that the embossing folder brings.

I really love this card. It's clean and straightforward but also elegant.

Softly Falling In Peaceful Pines

Today I'm sharing the second project I created for my customers workshop on Thursday night.

I used Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla card stock to create a neutral feel. I wanted a "plain" look to the card so the main tree would stand out as the focal point.

The trees (from 'Peaceful Pines') are all adhered with dimensionals to give the  card some depth.

I'm really happy with how the card turned out and so were the workshop attendees!

Cute Kiddo Cards

I've been asked to hold a kids card class so over the weekend I worked on ideas for it.

I saw this cute dragon card on Pinterest and couldn't resist making one... Or two.

Once made, the problem was which one to include in the class! 

I couldn't decide so you'll be making both of them lol.

'Peaceful Pines' In A 'Woodlands' Scene

I've been having fun stamping trees of all different sizes and patterns with the Stampin' Up! 'Peaceful Pines' bundle.

This is one of the cards I created for my upcoming class. 

I used non traditional colours just for something a little different.

The wee glimmer stars are from the Confetti star punch. I used the new fine tip glue pen to adhere them. Loveeeee it!

'Embellished Ornaments'

With Christmas approaching I hold 'Inky Moose Club Cards' as a way to get lots of cards made to send for the holiday season.

This year there's just too many beautiful stamp sets in the Holiday Catalogue that I can't do it Lolol.

Instead I'll be focusing on one stamp set each month.

First up is 'Embellished Ornaments'.

Here I've teamed it up with the retired stamp set 'Ornamental Pine'. 

I used the 'Wonderland' DSP as my colour inspiration.

I'm really loving how this card turned out!

'Thanks and Giving'

I didn't have the next classes projects ready to show attendees last week but I'm working on them and here's the first one.

The theme for the class is 'Thanks and Giving'.

I've used the new stamp set from Stampin' Up! called 'Lighthearted Leaves' and watercoloured my image. 

The square pillow box (a new framelit with lots of extras!) is embossed with the handsome new folder 'Woodland'.

Add a gold foil doily and you're set with a gorgeous gift box for a Thanksgiving treat!

Wonderful 'Wonderland' Trees

I've been busy making samples for the upcoming East Coast Stampin' event that Sandi and I are holding, with my box of new goodies.

One of my favourite new sets is 'Wonderland' ... There's just something about those trees. And another stamp in the set with a pinecone made it a must have for me! Lolol

Today's card is project two from my upcoming 'Fancy Pants Christmas' class.

I love how it turned out.

For this project I used it to create the rosette and I lined an envelope with it also to match. I just love it!

Just a quick post this morning :)

Here's another card I made for my 'Inspiration Station'.

I love the stark contrast of the white skeletons (I used white embossing powder) with the bright blue and black.

I also used the new Triple Banner Punch. I love it... Making even banners is so easy now !

Here's one of the M&T projects I came up with for the ECS Summer Event. We didn't want to leave the men out ;)

I coloured a clear block with markers and spritzed it to get the colouring on the tag.

Simple but so effective!

There's a sweet wee stamp set in the new annual catalogue with a coordinating punch. It's the Ronald McDonald Charities stamp set so not only do you get to make cute cards, you're helping a worthy cause :D

A Fond Farewell to 'Stippled Blossoms'

I know, I know ... it's been an age since I posted on here. I will say life has been so busy and with the sun making a much welcomed appearance I have been trying to build up my vitamin D reserves.
But enough about that, I'm sure you want to know all about my card ;D
 
My upcoming class is saying a fond farewell to stamp sets that are retiring.
Todays post showcases two retiring stamp sets - 'Stippled Blossoms' and 'I Love Lace'.

I love, love, love the finished product!
I heat embossed gold detailing onto the flowers and the lace pattern is gold heat embossed too. It looks so rich and decadent, it's stunning in the light!

Branching Out With Birthday Wishes

Hello all!

We're over half way through Winter and I am soooooo ready for Spring! This card is my shout out to Spring ...hurry up and get here please lol :D

In the new Occasions catalogue there is the beautiful set 'Sheltering Tree'. It is similar to a retired one I have called 'Branch Out' which I am using for my upcoming class.

This card is cased from one I saw on Pinterest (of course!) by Silke Ledlow. Thanks Silke for the inspiration!

I've used a trio of pink shades for the canopy of my tree - Blushing Bride, Regal Rose (retired) and Strawberry Slush.
I coloured the button with the new Pink Pirouette Blendabilites. I love how easy it is to coordinate embellishments now!
