Happy Monday, lovelies 🤓

With my reveal on Friday, here’s a sneak peek of what’s in store … sunshine!

PROJECT SUNSHINE

 Hello, lovelies!

I know. It’s been a VERY long time since I posted on here.

I’ve been thinking about starting it up again, for a while now, and decided an event I’m organizing for February, was the perfect time to get “inky” on here again.

So, here it is. A sneak peek of a project I created to add some sunshine to your day.

With it being winter here, we could all use a little added warmth, don’t you think? 😍

I’ll be posting more projects in days to come!

Farewell 'Swallowtail'

Happy Thursday :D

Next weeks class farewells this fabulous single stamp from Stampin' Up!

Monochromatic cards are so simple but I find them striking.
Without lots of colour to distract the eye, you're drawn to the image as the focal point!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek :D

A Fond Farewell

Happy Saturday :D

With the soon to be released new annual catalogue from Stampin' Up! there also comes the retired list.

As a last hurrah my classes for the month of May are fond farewells to say goodbye to some sets I love!

The first of these classes is to farewell 'Summer Silhouettes'. This set had been on my wish list for the longest time and I only recently purchased it. It definitely had to be inked up before it retired!

Thanks for stoping by and taking a peek :D

Pretty As A Flowering Field

Happy Thursday :D

It's a beautiful Spring day here and it put me in the mood to use flowers for my next class!

I've used the pretty SAB set 'Flowering Fields', ink and a blender pen. That's it.

Stay tuned for the complete project once it's done! ;D

A Room With A View

Happy Wednesday :)

I didn't have the next class projects ready for last weeks class so this is a surprise for everyone. I did tell them that the class theme was the window framelit though ;)

I've seen this card all over Pinterest (Thanks Amy K for the inspiration!) and thought it's too pretty not to case!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek  :D

A Slice Of Lemon

Happy Wednesday ☺️

I think I have a problem ... A teacup problem lol.

Here's another card I made using the 'Teacups and Kettles' bundle from Stampin'Up!

I was inspired by a card I saw made by inkers workshop (thank you for the inspiration!) and of course since it involved teacups I had to case it.

Notice the little lemon slice charm?
Isn't it adorable?!
The icing on the cake, or, the slice of lemon in my tea ☺️

I used sentiments from 'Perfect Pennants' and  'Awesomely Artistic'.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek ☺️

Tea Cups and Kettles

Happy Friday ☺️
I hope you've had a great week!

Classes resumed this week and it was nice to get back into the swing of things once more.

Above is one of the projects we kicked the new year off with.
I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest by Mary Fish (thanks Mary for the inspiration!).

Here's the second project designed by yours truly ...

A sweet Z-fold card that would brighten anyone's day don't you think ☺️

I love the extra little details that the coordinating framelits offer to the 'A Nice Cuppa' stamp set - the scallops on the teapot and the swirls on the teacup.

It's a little hard to see in the photos but I used the new clear Wink Of Stella glitter pen on the hearts. These pens are my new friends. I get to add some glitter to my projects without the mess!

Now it's time for me to put my actual kettle on. All this talk of tea has me wanting an actual cup of my own lol.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek  ☺️

Time For Tea

Happy Tuesday!

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. I certainly did☺️

I took some time away from my work room but now I'm back in it preparing classes. I have to say it's nice not making something Christmas related for a change lol.

I thought I would start with a sneak peek of some new goodies.

With the soon to be released Occasions catalogue from Stampin' Up!,  I knew straight away what my first class of the year would use... The fun new bundle ' A Nice Cuppa'.
With coordinating DSP and embellishments, oh my, I am in heaven!

Stay tuned for class projects in the coming days ☺️

What A View!

Happy Wednesday :D

Today I'm sharing another project for my upcoming 'Kinda Eclectic' class.
I saw a card on Pinterest very similar to this by Tamra Davis (thanks for the inspiration Tamra!).
Tamra used 'Sheltering Tree' which I don't own so I used 'Branch Out'. I also used my current 'go-to' stamp 'Watercolor Wishes'. I love its versatility :D

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek  :D

You're Golden!

Hello again and happy Saturday :D
I hope your weekend is an enjoyable one so far!

Today I want to share one of the projects for my upcoming 'Over The Rainbow' class. You'll be making four cards and a coordinating satchel to put them in.

I used the super sweet new stamp set 'Over The  Rainbow'. I can see I'll be using bits from this set a lot!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek :)

You're Fabulous!

Happy Thursday :D

Today I'm sharing a card I made for my upcoming 'Timeless Elegance' class.
I was inspired by this card on Pinterest:

Thanks Amy for the inspiration!

The sentiment I used is from the great new hostess set 'A Whole Lot Of Lovely'.
Who doesn't like being told that they're fabulous? ;)

Sprinkles Of Life

Happy Monday!

There's a sweet wee stamp set in the new annual catalogue with a coordinating punch. It's the Ronald McDonald Charities stamp set so not only do you get to make cute cards, you're helping a worthy cause :D

This is one of the projects I cased for my upcoming class.
Like I said... Sweet ... And cute!

Thanks for stopping by :)

Kind Koalas

Hello all :)

I have a rather cute card to share with you today.
I made it recently for a friend and couldn't resist sharing as this fellow is just too darn cute!

I used my Blendabilities to colour the Koala and flower. I am slowly getting the hang of them. The dark colour always trips me up though!
I fussy cut them out and popped them on with dimensionals. I used some Crystal Effects for the nose and flower centre.
Of course I added some piercing to finish off the card front ;)

Because the card is 4 3/4" square, I made an envelope using the fantastic envelope board.
Here's a pic of the Koala peeking out ...

Thanks for stopping by! :)

Happy Mail!

Look what I received today, some happy mail!

It's the nicest feeling finding a piece of mail in your mailbox that isn't a bill LOL.

This card was sent to me from Stampin' Up! Canada to recognize my 5th anniversary with SU!. Wasn't that so thoughtful? It made my day :D

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek :)

Remember Me?

Hello all and happy Tuesday :)

My post title is my way of saying I know it's been too long since I have posted on here sorry!
I am really going to try better :)

The card above is a case of one I saw by Lisa Young. I kept much of it the same but had to add some of the gorgeous crochet trim to the tag. Isn't it pretty?

The card is also one of the projects for my next class.
Here's all the projects:

I have used all the stamps in the stamp set 'Choose Happiness'. It's a great set for collage style cards and the sentiments are beautiful.
Have you noticed the card with the picket fence along the bottom? The fence is made with the banner stamp in the 'Choose Happiness' set!  That's definitely  thinking outside the box. I can't take the credit for it though. I spied it on Julie Davison's blog and it was too clever not to case!
Thanks Lisa and Julie for the inspiration!

Class Details:

Wednesday 6th August 1 - 3 pm & 7 - 9.30 pm / Thursday 7th August 7 - 9.30 pm

Cost: $15.00
