I've paired the 'Falling In Love' range with the 'Beautiful You' stamp set to create a soft and feminine water coloured card.

Dragonfly Dreams

Happy New Year :D

A new year means a new Occasions catalogue!

One of the first sets that caught my eye  in the soon-to-be released catty was the Dragonfly Dreams bundle so I decided that would be the first set I used to start my classes for 2017.

I had been asked to do sympathy cards for the class and this is the first project I came up with. 

I kept the colours neutral and went for a soft look, hoping the copper  embossing powder and copper foil dragonfly would make the necessary sentiment. 

I have to say I'm thrilled with how it turned out. Thanks for taking a peek :D

Star Of Light

Happy wet and snowy Thursday :D

This is one of the class projects showcasing the beautiful 'Star of Light' bundle from SU!

I was inspired by a card I saw by Kathy MacKay (thanks Kathy for the inspiration!).

I've used Dapper Denim, Gold and Delightful Dijon as my colour palette. 

The DSP is from the paper pack 'Presents & Pinecones'.

I've used white and copper and love the clean elegant look it created. 

Of course I couldn't resist adding one of the sweet Pinecones charms!
