Honeycomb Heaven For Men

Happy Wednesday all :)

Today I'm sharing the last project for my upcoming 'Honeycomb Heaven' class. I got the idea from the SU! demonstrator site and thought it would be perfect for my class.
I have to apologise for the delay in posting this last card but I had made two of it and one was for a dear friend whose birthday was this month. I had to make sure he received his card before I posted it on here!

I love the rich, earthy colours and the texture of this card. It's not too fussy or over the top for a guys card.

Thank you also if you have taken the time to stop by my Inky Moose page on Facebook. It made my day :D

Bee Happy

Happy Thursday :)
Since it's now officially Spring I thought I'd share one of the projects for an upcoming class I am running showcasing the great Hexagon embossing folder in the Spring Mini.
Every time I looked at the folder it reminded me of honeycomb which inspired me to create something to do with bees.
I made the bee using the ornament and circle punches. The wings are punched out of filter crepe paper that you'll find in the Spring Mini too. I love the soft look it gives. I had some fine wire in my stash so constructed the antennae.
I love the finished card! It makes me smile :)

Here's what the inside of the card looks like ... I carried the bee theme inside too!

Super duper cute!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at my creation :)

Class Details: Wednesday 3rd / Thursday 4th April, 7 - 9.30pm.

Ears, Eggs and Easter

Hello all :)
This is the last project of my upcoming Easter class. It's a swing card!
I've used the adorable bunnies from 'Ears To You' again and teamed it with 'Easter Blossoms'. I love the colour combo on the 'Tea For Two' DSP so used it as my inspiration.
Here's another view ...

Isn't it sweet?!
Here's the card closed ...
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek and have yourself a great weekend :)

Carrots Aren't Just Good For Your Eyes

Happy Wednesday :)

Today I'm sharing another one of the projects for my upcoming Easter class.

As soon as I saw the adorable bunnies on the 'Ears To You' stamp, I knew what I wanted to do with them.

I had seen a sour cream container on Pintrest done up like a carrot (Thanks Jo Dumbleton!) and what better image to add to it than a bunny?! I had quite a choice deciding which one to use - There's three to choose from LOL.

Inside the carrot there's four Cadbury Caramilk Mini Eggs (Mmmmmm), proving carrots aren't just good for your eyes; they're good for chocolate cravings too, and imagine finding one of these in your yard whilst going on an egg hunt!

Easter Blossoms

Happy Tuesday :)
It's March break here this week so I have my children at home. I am trying to make in roads on my class schedule so people know what is coming up. Easier said than done!
I do have a card to share today though that is one of the projects for my Easter class.
It's a shadow box. The photo above doesn't really show you the depth so here's one I took side on ...

The fantastic thing about this card, is that even though it is so thick it lies flat for posting!
I used the beautiful (unfortunately retired) 'Easter Blossoms' set. The girl is heat embossed in Pewter embossing powder ... I think it looks black in the photos though so I took a close up pic ...
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek :)
