Time For Tea

Happy Tuesday!

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. I certainly did☺️

I took some time away from my work room but now I'm back in it preparing classes. I have to say it's nice not making something Christmas related for a change lol.

I thought I would start with a sneak peek of some new goodies.

With the soon to be released Occasions catalogue from Stampin' Up!,  I knew straight away what my first class of the year would use... The fun new bundle ' A Nice Cuppa'.
With coordinating DSP and embellishments, oh my, I am in heaven!

Stay tuned for class projects in the coming days ☺️

A Glittery Sleigh Ride

Happy Tuesday :D

It's the first day of December and that means I will be holding a 'Fancy Pants' class to finish off my Christmas card classes.

My favourite bundle in the Holiday catalogue is the Sleigh Ride edgelits and coordinating stamp set. That being said, I had to sneak them in my classes somewhere!

Here's project one for my 'Fancy Pants Finale' class, cased from Pinterest. ☺️

O, Come All Ye Faithful

Happy Saturday :D

I forgot to share this card I made while I was coming up with ideas for the recent workshop I ran.

It's a pretty straightforward card but I love the soft warm colours and hint of gold :D

Softly Falling In Peaceful Pines

Happy Saturday :D

Today I'm sharing the second project I created for my customers workshop on Thursday night.

I used Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla card stock to create a neutral feel. I wanted a "plain" look to the card so the main tree would stand out as the focal point.
The trees (from 'Peaceful Pines') are all adhered with dimensionals to give the  card some depth.

I'm really happy with how the card turned out and so were the workshop attendees!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek ☺️

All Ye Faithful

Happy Friday :D

Today I'm sharing one of the projects from a workshop I did last night for lovely customer of mine.

She had requested a religious Christmas card and here's what I came up with.
I used Stampin' Up!'s 'All Ye Faithful' stamp set from the holiday catalogue.

I'm thrilled with how it turned out.

Thanks for taking a peek! ☺️

'Peaceful Pines' In A 'Woodlands' Scene

Happy Saturday :D

I've been having fun stamping trees of all different sizes and patterns with the Stampin' Up! 'Peaceful Pines' bundle.

This is one of the cards I created for my upcoming class.
I used non traditional colours just for something a little different.

The wee glimmer stars are from the Confetti star punch. I used the new fine tip glue pen to adhere them. Loveeeee it!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! ☺️

And Many More

Happy Wednesday :D

Today's share is the second project for next weeks 'Awesomely Artistic' class.

The sentiment on both today's and yesterday's cards is from the handy dandy 'And Many More' stamp set, hence the post title ... In case you were wondering! 😉

I teamed up the gorgeous flower bunch image with the classy 'Timeless Elegance' DSP. I added ribbon and lace but at first glance I don't think you see the lace. I also added some mini brads.
Here's a close up ...

Holy Bats, Batman!

Happy Thursday :D

Tomorrow I'm teaching a class of middle schoolers as part of an enrichment programme at my local middle school.

I thought the kids would appreciate Halloween ideas. What do you think?

I came across this idea on Pinterest. Thanks to Meg Loven for the awesome idea ... And thanks to you for stopping by and taking a peek ☺️

Glittery Gold

Happy Monday :D

Here's project #2 for this weeks 'Embellished Ornaments' class.

I cased an idea I saw on
Pinterest by Kim Smith (craftingbuddy.blogspot.com) and changed it up a little. Thanks Kim for the inspiration!

This card is a little different from your regular two sides card. It has three sides and plenty of room to write a message!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek :D

'Embellished Ornaments'

Happy Sunday :D

With Christmas approaching I hold 'Inky Moose Club Cards' as a way to get lots of cards made to send for the holiday season.
This year there's just too many beautiful stamp sets in the Holiday Catalogue that I can't do it Lolol.
Instead I'll be focusing on one stamp set each month.

First up is 'Embellished Ornaments'.
Here I've teamed it up with the retired stamp set 'Ornamental Pine'.
I used the 'Wonderland' DSP as my colour inspiration.

I'm really loving how this card turned out!

Happy Wednesday :D

I didn't have the next classes projects ready to show attendees last week but I'm working on them and here's the first one.

The theme for the class is 'Thanks and Giving'.
I've used the new stamp set from Stampin' Up! called 'Lighthearted Leaves' and watercoloured my image.

The square pillow box (a new framelit with lots of extras!) is embossed with the handsome new folder 'Woodland'.

Add a gold foil doily and you're set with a gorgeous gift box for a Thanksgiving treat!

One Wintry Night

Happy Thursday :D

Here's the last project for my 'Fancy Pants Christmas' class.

Some might say I saved the best for last even lol.

There's oodles of new goodies on this card ... Check out the window, the sleigh ride edgelit and what about the fancy corners on the card base?
I even managed to sneak in my favourite trees from the 'Wonderland' stamp set!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek  :D

I've been asked what I used for the greenery at the bottom of the window. It is an old punch I have (Non-SU!). Any kind of finer foliage (the bird punch stem for example) could be substituted for it :)

Wonderful 'Wonderland' Trees

I've been busy making samples for the upcoming East Coast Stampin' event that Sandi and I are holding, with my box of new goodies.

One of my favourite new sets is 'Wonderland' ... There's just something about those trees. And another stamp in the set with a pinecone made it a must have for me! Lolol

Today's card is project two from my upcoming 'Fancy Pants Christmas' class.
I love how it turned out.

Class Dates:

Wednesday 2nd September 7 - 9.30pm &
Thursday 3rd September 7 - 9.30pm

It's Beginning To Look Like A Fancy Pants Christmas

Happy Tuesday :D

With September just around the corner, it's time for me to start holding Christmas card classes.

My first one is next week and I'm starting with a 'Fancy Pants Christmas' class. Three fancy cards that will have everyone wanting to be on your Christmas card list this year!

I've used plenty of new goodies from the upcoming Holiday catalogue for this project. I had such a hard time using just one item! When you see your new catalogue you'll know what I mean ;D

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

Strong and Masculine

Happy Wednesday :D

At least twice a year I hold a masculine card class and next week will be one of them.

I've used a few stamp sets (World Map, Guy Greetings, Sail Away) to create this card and you can change the recipient as 'Guy Greetings' has plenty of options to choose from.

Here's the inside of the card:

Strong and straightforward which is what most men like!

Thanks for taking a peek :D

What A View!

Happy Wednesday :D

Today I'm sharing another project for my upcoming 'Kinda Eclectic' class.
I saw a card on Pinterest very similar to this by Tamra Davis (thanks for the inspiration Tamra!).
Tamra used 'Sheltering Tree' which I don't own so I used 'Branch Out'. I also used my current 'go-to' stamp 'Watercolor Wishes'. I love its versatility :D

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek  :D

'Kinda Eclectic'

Happy Monday :D

I hope you had a nice weekend.
My family had visitors from NZ (a friend of my sons and his father) so our weekend was fantastic!

Today I'm sharing one of the projects for my next class 'Kinda Eclectic'.

I saw a card on Pinterest by Michelle Last (thanks for the inspiration Michelle!) which I loved so I cased it and tweaked it a little. I used the gorgeous 'Timeless Elegance' DSP  to stamp on.

Have a great day. I'm off to have Marmite on toast!
I hear some of you saying "huh?".
Some of my readers and Kiwi followers will understand... It's the one thing I ask all our visitors from home to bring! ;)

You're Golden!

Hello again and happy Saturday :D
I hope your weekend is an enjoyable one so far!

Today I want to share one of the projects for my upcoming 'Over The Rainbow' class. You'll be making four cards and a coordinating satchel to put them in.

I used the super sweet new stamp set 'Over The  Rainbow'. I can see I'll be using bits from this set a lot!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek :)

Christmas In July

Happy Thursday :D

I've been busy getting projects ready for an upcoming Christmas class I have.

The attendees asked for the projects to be a surprise which I thought was a neat idea ... Just like gifts on the actual day - unless you're one of those individuals that  have to inspect and feel a gift with their name on it (I "may or may not" be one of these people ... Just saying ;)).

Nothing was said about sneak peeks though so here's one to get them in the mood for Christmas! Lol

Thanks for stopping by my little piece of the worldwide web and thanks to Peg Coombes for the inspiration that I found on Pinterest :D

Thank you!

Happy Tuesday :)

I wanted to share some thank you cards I  made yesterday. I first saw this idea on Pinterest by Sarah Poulton and tweaked it a little. Thanks for the inspiration Sarah! :D

Sometimes less is more and that's definitely the case with this card. I'm really happy with how they turned out :)

The Colours I used are 'Mint Macaron', 'Soft Sky', 'So Saffron' and 'Bermuda Bay'.
I used the new thick Whisper White cardstock for the card base. I LOVE it. No more flimsy card bases!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek :)

Dino-rrific!

Happy Tuesday :D

I've been playing with some of my new stamp sets and came up with this birthday card for all those budding paleontologists out there ;D

I used 'Over The Rainbow' to create the lower landscape and 'Watercolor Wash' for the sky. Add a dinosaur and some bones and this is what you get ... Rawr!

All That Glitters

Hello and happy Saturday!

Today's post is another sample I made for my Inspiration Station at the ECS Summer Event.
Registrants got some of the Expressions Natural Elements in their goody bag so I thought I'd showcase them to give them ideas.

The elements are great 'au naturale' if you want a natural look but you can also dress them up like I did here. I heat embossed gold powder on the element and it took really well :)
I added some new ribbon and a new metallic foil doily.

Can you guess what stamp set I used for the dots?
I'll give you a clue... It coordinates with a Thinlit ;)

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek :D
