Happy Thursday :)
Here is the last card for my upcoming 'Lovely Lattice' class. I've used the lattice piece as a trellis, weaving branches through the piece and adding flowers. This card could be used for a number of occasions, especially if the recipient likes gardening!
Here's the card in it's entirety...
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek, and whatever you have planned for today, I hope it's a good one!

Lovely Lattice Inside
As promised, here is the inside of yesterday's card. I have used the lattice piece to create a pop up effect for the inside.
Here's a side view to give you a better idea...
Isn't it neat?! I've used the darling 'Beautiful Wings' embosslit for the butterflies... they are the perfect size.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

More Lovely Lattice
Happy Monday :)
It is a beautiful sunny day here (albeit with a chilly wind) which is the inspiration behind my colour choice for today's post.
The card is another project for the upcoming 'Lovely Lattice' class. I've teamed Melon Mambo and Tangerine Tango together ... don't you think they are equally sunny and bright!
I have used some of the lattice piece to add definition and interest to my butterfly. (I have also used the lattice piece inside the card but that's tomorrows post! ;)).
Here's the full view of the card...
It is difficult to see in the photos but the butterfly does have two antenna. Try as I might, I just couldn't get a photo of the two of them showing!
Tomorrow I'll be showing the inside of this card... more butterflies and lattice loveliness!

Cute Cascading Cupcakes!
Happy Friday :)
Have I got a card to share with you today... one of my DD's is going to a birthday party over the weekend so I made a card for her. The birthday girl is turning 9 (Happy birthday Miss E!) so I wanted to put 9 cupcakes on the card. That's quite a number to fit on a regular sized card. Oh what to do!
As luck would have it, I was browsing the web for inspiration when I came across Chris Peterson's blog with a cascading card. I had never heard of a cascading card before but it has enough room to hold all my cupcakes!
Isn't it fantastic?! Here's a side view to give you a better idea of what it looks like...
How cool is that?! The card folds up flat so you can easily put it in a regular envelope.
I'll certainly be making more of these, and yes, those of you who attend my classes, I will include one in a future class!
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek, and have a great weekend!

Oh Lovely Lattice
Happy Thursday all :)
Today I'm sharing one of the cards I'm offering in an upcoming class. The class is all about the lovely lattice die that SU! offers.
Each card will highlight a different way to use the die so if you have it (or if you want it) you'll get the most out of it.
Here's a full photo of the finished card...
I've teamed the yummy Wisteria Wonder, Lucky Limeade and Calypso Coral together and love the result. I'm trying to get more adventurous with my colour choices!
Thanks for stopping by!
Class details:
Wednesday 7th March / Thursday 8th March, 7 - 9.30pm.
Cost: $15. Email to register.

Valentine's Gifts Grade 3 Style!
Happy Monday :)
Today I'm sharing the Valentine's gifts I made for my youngest DD to give to her fellow classmates this year.
We were given a list of the names of the children in the class so I knew how many boys and girls ones to make.
These were super simple to make but aren't they super cute?! I love how the lollipop stick is held in place by the ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope the start of your week is a good one!

The Big 6 - 0
Hello all :)
I have had this card made for the longest time but couldn't post it as the recipient visits my blog. Now that her birthday has been and she has the card, here it is.
The idea for this card isn't mine but I can't find out who the original creator was. If it was you, let me know so I can give you credit :)
As soon as I saw this idea I knew it would be perfect and I knew the sentiment I wanted to add. Here's the inside...
My friend has a wicked sense of humour and I knew she'd get a kick out of this even if she didn't want to celebrate turning the big 6-0. Unfortunately for her, I couldn't let such a milestone go by without acknowledging it!
Happy, happy birthday Ruth!
