Happy Thursday :)
Today I'm sharing a recent swap I made for a ASI challenge. We were to choose a card in a magazine and recreate it using SU! products.
This is the card I came up with.
I used my favourite set from the new catalogue (From My Heart) and teamed it up with some retired DSP (You'll see why I choose it when you look at the card I choose to case), some paper piercing (mmmm) and some of the scrumptious Early Espresso embossing powder.
I pleated the strip of Rose Red DSP though you can't notice it very well in the pic.
Here's the card I chose to case...
I think my card is a little different to this but it still resembles the overall layout of it.
It was a great challenge ladies and I'm really pleased with how my swap turned out!
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek :)

Boxed and Beautiful
Good morning all :)
Today I'm sharing the gift box I made to store the ornament in. This gives you a better view of the flocked acetate window. Isn't it beautiful? I can just imagine an assortment of chocolates in it!
Here's a pic with the ornament in it...

Up Close and Personal!
Happy Friday all :)
Here's a closer look at the gorgeous ornament that I gave you a sneak peek of yesterday. It graces the cover of the soon-to-be released SU! catalogue. Isn't it stunning?!
My upline (the wonderful Carol!) created a tutorial on how to make it so I followed her instructions and learned from her "mistakes" LOL. To purchase Carol's tutorial, click here.
There are so many new products used to create this ... The stamped images (and the framelits to cut them out), the oh so soft tulle and DSP too. I'm giving you fair warning now, this new catalogue could be very dangerous! LOL.
Here's a closer look at the tag that finishes off the giftbox too...
Can you see the window behind the tag and tulle bow? It is acetate with flocking on it! It is stunning!
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek, and enjoy your day!
Class Details:
Dates: Wednesday August 8th / Thursday August 9th, 7 - 9.30 pm.
Cost: $20.00

Christmas Comes Early
Hello all :)
Today's post is a sneak peek of my first class for August... It's all about Christmas! I have to confess to finding it strange and a little unnerving, thinking about Christmas while it's still Summer, but there you have it, needs must!
I have already had requests for Christmas card classes so I'm kicking off my Inky Moose Christmas Card Club with a bang! You'll be making a gorgeous (and I mean gorgeous!) ornament, a gift box to put it in and a tag. Each can be used separately or as a set, the choice is yours!
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek, I'll post more photos soon :)

Beauty With Bleach
Happy Wednesday :)
Who would have thought that bleach could be used to make something beautiful? Clean yes, beautiful no. But this is not the case at all!
Today's post showcases the projects for an upcoming technique class. I have used the new promotional 'Reason To Smile' stamp set and heat embosed the flower images. I've then used a technique of colouring with bleach to remove colour from specific areas to created a desired effect.
Here's a closer look at what I mean...
Each of the daisy images has been coloured with bleach. I took my colour cue for the rest of the card from the colour that resulted from the use of the bleach. It reminded me of 'Pool Party' so I used that.
To finish off the projects I made a sweet pillow giftbox...
Isn't it cute?!
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek :)

"Expanding" On 'Everything Eleanor'
Happy Thursday all :)
Today's post is the remaining project for the class next week, showcasing the gorgeous set 'Everything Eleanor'. It's a birthday card thats expands!
I have had an idea in my head of how I wanted this card to look, but getting it from my grey matter into creation took a bit of work!
I have used two chipboard coasters and decorated them. I've used the wonderful 'Natural Composition' DSP and coloured it with 'Primrose Petal' ink. I think it gives a rich damask feel to it. I love it!
I heat embossed the swirl (a mistake but I can live with it) and the sentiment. Did you notice the pretty vintage faceted button? They are sooooo pretty! I added a pearl in the centre and a little lace.
Wonder what the inside looks like?
It was too long to fit in my photo booth very well so I took a close up of the last few letters...
I love the little bird image in the set and I was determined to have him on the card somewhere!
Do you have someone super special you could send this birthday card to?
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek :)
