Happy Thursday all.
Today I have the cutest, dinkiest wee purse to share with you. It's the latest Big Shot die from SU! Its called a Petite purse, and petite it is... and pretty... and dinky... and... just so darn cute!
I've used the gorgeous 'Twitterpated' DSP to decorate my purse. I added some embellishments, pearls and filled it. Guess what with.
Yes, it's filled with chocolate! Easter eggs to be exact.
This pretty purse is the last project in my 'Boxed Bunnies' class coming up next week.
Not already signed up?
You'd better get on to it!

It's A Girl!
Just a quick post to say welcome to Mary who has just joined my Inky Moose team! I look forward to sharing the wonderful world of SU! with you :)
Strictly One Layer!
Happy Monday all!
I have to apologise for my tardiness in posts recently. Life has a habit of getting in the way sometimes :)
Today I am sharing my ASI team swap. The lovely Carol came up with this month's challenge... a single layer card. Sounds easy doesn't it? Hmmmmm, not for me! I find it very hard to strip away all the embellishments and layers to produce something of just one layer, but I did it and I have to say I'm pleased with the results.
After my attempt at brayering earlier I chose to sponge a skyline for this card. I used Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil delight and Baja Breeze and masked off the area I wanted to colour with Post-it notes
Add some flowers and a sentiment and there you have it... a simple single layer card that was far from easy!

Brayering Birthday Wishes
Happy Friday all!
Today's post is one of my attempts at brayering. I have seen many beautiful ideas with it and wanted to give it a try. I thought "How hard can it be?"...
Hmmmmm, Im going to have to practise!
One of the many perks of being a SU! demonstrator is the wonderful people you meet. I recently accepted a request for a penpal to swap cards with. I made this card to send. The lovely recipient? One Shelly Lommel from MN :). I hope you like your card Shelly!
Here's a closer look at my brayering...
As you can see the skyline is a little streaky but I'm sure sometimes it looks that way in reality... that's what I'm telling myself anyway!
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek, and have a wonderful weekend :)

In Need Of Some Inspiration?
Happy Tuesday :)
Today's project is what I call a little tin of inspiration. I decorated a small metal tin and when you open it up, there are words of inspiration to be found inside. Here's a sample of what I mean ...
The tin is small enough to fit in your handbag so wherever you are, you can take it with you. Kind of like inspiration on the go!
I even included a place for you to write a message if you are giving it as a gift. This tin might be small but it is mighty on brightening someone's day.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek :)

Life Is Good
Isn't that something we all like to hear?
I've used that sentiment on one of the cards in my upcoming 'Manly, Man , Man' class.
I always struggle with men's cards and I know others do as well, so I try and provide some inspiration in that department for them!
I've used the 'Well Worn' DSP (it reminds me of a pair of old denim jeans) and kept the cards straightforward... guys tend to like things that way :)
March break starts today here in Canada so for those of you that live up here in the north, enjoy the week with your children!
Class dates:
Wednesday 21st March / Thursday 22nd March, 7 - 9.30pm
Cost: $15.00
Email to register.

Like Mother, Like Daughter
Happy Friday :)
Today's post was not made by me... one of my DD's has a birthday party to attend this weekend and she wanted to make a card. We had been looking at ideas and she loved the cascading card. When she saw a cascading castle card, that was the one she had to make!
I made the base of the card for her but the rest is entirely her own creation... punching, stamping, adhering, the lot ... not bad for a 9 year old is it?!
When I told DD that I was going to post her card on my blog she was excited, so if you leave a comment for her, I'll be sure to pass it on!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great Friday!
